How this really helped me know how to use it.
I experienced this incredibly beautiful restaurant's outdoor setting recently. This video does not do it justice, showing only little pieces of it. There is no sense of its lush expanse and its dramatic episodic sequences.
Don't you need to saute the onions,?
This video is a decade old. And a decade ago, this was like a doctor prescribing you a med for a short-term side effect, not the med's actual intended use. Peat Moss was never a "fix" for TARR or TAP (Take All Patch) as neither of them is curable, as they are both soil-borne diseases. Temporarily lowering the PH of our high PH soils in North Texas makes the grass happy for 1-2 months (until our 7.8 PH city water changes it back) but does little to fix the underlying problem. Further, since the primary function of peat moss is moisture retention, raking it on top of the ground has a reverse negative effect, similar to mulching your grass clippings on top of the soil. All of the stolen runners are sitting in moist peat moss for 3-5X longer than they normally would after irrigation/rain, which, in turn, makes it easier for the already sick, diseased grass to catch 2-3 other diseases at the same time it has TARR. I regularly receive disease biopsy results from lawns covered in peat moss, where they also now have Blight, Culvalaria, Brown Patch, etc. "Amending" our poor clay soils in North Texas is ALWAYS good, regardless of whether you have TARR or TAP. But "topdressing" does not = amending, and topdressing with pure peat moss is a waste of money, 100% does not cure TARR, and will likely give you other disease problems. Even Mr. Sperry is now saying on his website (in 2023) that this is wrong, and his same pathologist is simply recommending Azoxy fungicide instead. He is wrong in the sense that people will assume this is the new, singular "cure." Unless you have complete, full sun (which, why would you have St. Augustine then), there are not 1 or 2 smoking guns to deal with this. There are no shortcuts, magic fungicides, or quick fixes. You have to completely change your cultural practices (or your lawn crew's practices), fix overshading issues, and put yourself on a regular program. Further, there are very complicated FRAC code resistant issues at play here with the fungicides, which have been affecting property owners that keep putting down the same fungicide, then say, "It was working in the Spring, but the TARR is back in the Fall/Winter." If you need a professional turfgrass disease consult (not a free estimate as we are not a landscaper) in North Texas, you can contact DFW Turfgrass Science LLC. We are managing several test plots across the metroplex. And there are a lot of nuances in dealing with this growing problem, which is also affecting Zoysia and Bermuda (though not as severe).
The entire stepping stone is mortar? Is that strong enough to not crack?

What the fuck
What kind of cement do you use?
(Blue in the Fall )Buffalo grass is flawlèss in Texas! Mr. Sperry opened my mind!
I grew up eating at Joe T's. Left Ft Worth when I was 13, so ya, I need to go back. Oh ya, last time I ate there was in the late 60's. The road was dirt, the wall leaned in, and you had to walk thru the kitchen to get to the dining room. And Good Lord! the food was amazing.
Fort Worth: Ultimate Taste (go with top shelf)
For me that's burned onions actually.
Hi
Joe T's
Frisco,Texas. I’m in Denton. Good to see foliage that will survive in my area.

Thank u what’s the recipe for the stone?
thank you! GREAT video. You were so clear on your instructions. Ive been struggling with whether i was supposed to let calus in dirt or in air. No one ever shows that part, so thank you.

This is the ultimate place to eat Mexican Food!
This is not your grandads Nandina!!!
Shouldn’t this salsa be pressure cooked since it has chicken bouillon? I thought chicken and chicken based products aren’t acid enough to water bath and need to be pressure cooked ?
Oh boy you're just drunk I hope they have enough food in the back.... And no I am J.T. and my grandfather is the original J.T.......😁
Round up! The weedicide that was causing cancer
I was going to give it a thumbs up but NO recipes written?
I don't know about that meatless chili, just don't seem Texan to me.
Start with caramelized onions, but I won’t show you how to do that. Also you can use store bought pizza dough....I prefer to make mine fresh, but I won’t show you how to do that either. I’ll use a pizza stone (which I know most of you don’t have) to get a beautiful gold crust on the bottom. I put Italian herbs on my tomatoes, which you’ll have to guess what they were by looking at the tiny little flakes on the screen. You didn’t think I’d actually tell you what I used, did you? I’ll take up most of the video to just show you how to put toppings on it. However, I’ll keep you watching to the end with my soothing, mesmerizing voice.
I love Covington’s
Where's the "Chef Tip"????
Thank you! great stepping stones!
I let my Euphorbia get really dry until it forms callouses at the joints - then I take these as "cuttings" and theres no sap because it is already calloused! :)
OOOOooo!!! Sponsored by Scott's Miracle Grow! Must be great veggies! Clean with no chemicals!
